We had a great experience with Ike’s. Captain Nate and Joanna were awesome. Some boat glitches after we were on the boat caused a reschedule for later in the day which Ike’s took care of for us. Second time out Nate and JoJo made sure everything was working perfect. Awesome flights. Got our feet dipped in the water then back in the air to land smoothly back on the boat. Very skillful operating of the boat and chute. Very competent crew. Thank you guys for an awesome day.
My son and his friend rode the Banana Boat from Oceania on August 17 - This was my son's third time to ride Ike's Banana Boat from Oceania this year as we typically let him and out of town guests ride when they are visiting. It was approximately 3:30 and the weather was beautiful. The boys were excited and were the only two riders on their trip. Unfortunately the trip lasted less than 10 minutes. When they returned, I asked the nice ladies working there if there was a problem since the trip was so short. The previous two times he had ridden (in April and June) this year the rides last approximately 20-25 minutes. The lady said she would ask the jet ski driver and get back to me. We were sitting approximately 50 yards from the kiosk and after another 20 minutes I went back over there and she told me she didn't know why it was so short, but that she had reported it to the office. I never heard back from anyone at Ike's and after another 20 minutes they packed up and left without ever coming over to talk with me.
We booked at Ike’s beach service and checked in at Oceania condos. All staff were friendly from the beginning to the end! Our captain and deckhand were super fun and knowledgeable. They eased all of our fears and answered all our ridiculous questions. We felt very safe! We saw dolphins, jellyfish and even a sea turtle on our peaceful flight. Bought the photo package because we weren’t able to bring our phones. It seemed they focused on quantity not quality. We would’ve loved some pictures with the crew to further remember our wonderful experience!

I will add days before we went parasailing, we did the banana boat, I’m sad to say we didn’t catch the gentleman’s name driving us but he was hands down equally amazing!! The entire staff from booking to boarding and unloading were fantastic!! You all do not get enough credit for what you do…. Hoping to see you all next year!

It took several minutes (felt like hours) to get me back onboard. Captain Ben immediately jumped into the the banana boat to help me. After a LIFETIME of my own embarrassment, I made it onto the boat and literally EVERYONE (crew and passengers) on board was so nice. Captain Ben checked on me several times and made sure to let me know I’m not the only one to ever fall off…lol. Alexa was a ROCKSTAR at literally everything.
The actual parasailing was AMAZING. Felt like we flew up there forever. My niece and I now have a memory together that we’ll never forget. 10/10 recommend Ben and Alexa for anyone, and ESPECIALLY for making what could have been awful a WONDERFUL experience!

My wife and kids parasailed while we were there over the 4th. They loved it. The staff did a great job getting them up and down right before a storm hit. I'm thankful they got to enjoy it. We've been home 3 days now and both kids still say this was the highlight of their week in Gulf Shores.
Full disclosure, I received a refund for my tickets due to the absolutely awful experience my fiancée and I had. This review is a reflection of that experience. Now where do I begin…
After booking yesterday morning, we show up early as requested on our confirmation, park and walk over just fine. We get checked in at the beach kiosk to turn in any items we don’t plan on taking in the boat. I asked if my glasses can stay on, to which the check in lady replies something to the effect of “if you can shake your head around and they still say on, you’ll be fine to keep them”. We put on the life jackets and sit in the customer waiting area as requested until it’s our turn. We end up waiting for nearly 45 minutes, putting us at least a few minutes past our originally booked start time. When it’s our turn, we notice they decided not to bring the boat to the shore and instead drive us out on these shoddy rafts to meet the boat in the open sea. The jetski driver towing the rafts and the staff member helping everybody get on couldn’t possibly have been more unhelpful and unenthusiastic. After falling off this unstable slippery raft, the jet ski driver impatiently drives off before I can climb back on, completely plowing me into the oncoming wave. Meanwhile the staff member is just standing there like a scarecrow and their shoddy operation causes me to lose my glasses, slice open my finger, and get a giant brush burn from being launched off the raft. They slow down and let me climb the raft; it’s massively overcrowded but I was attempting to be optimistic. We finally make it out to the boat. After clambering onto the boat barely because the assistant couldn’t bothered to help me up, we take a seat on this massively overcrowded boat with at least 15 people on it. They have to switch over the parachute, letting slip the fact that the last riders were in the air when the winch had broken, which is not exactly the most reassuring thing to hear at this point. While switching it over the captain comments that this is his last trip of the day so he wants to get it over with; at this point the boat is violently rocking because he’s steering with his foot while messing with the chute. They finally get it changed, and when it’s time to get it airborne, the winch breaks again. They concede that it’s not happening today and take us back to shore, but not before the captain asks us to try to reschedule or come back at 6. Even I were available, why would I want to go up on this poorly maintained and poorly operated equipment!! $85 per person before tip and tax is not cheap at all, and you know the experience was subpar when the best part is getting a refund. Even if none of this had happened, I still would have given this place 1 star for the completely deceptive pricing and scheduling. You book an hour slot, but they fail to mention you’re on the boat with a dozen other people and have to take turns, so you’re up in the air for 8 minutes maximum. That small amount of time for $85 is completely ridiculous, and that money is definitely not going to the equipment, facilities, or apathetic underpaid high schoolers to make the experience passable.

We had an amazing experience with Ben & Alexa! It was my kids’ first time parasailing and they made them feel comfortable and excited for it. They paid special attention to them and even slowed down so we could see dolphins during our time. The kids already want to go again tomorrow! Thanks Ben & Alexa!

We had an absolutely amazing time with Ben and Alexa! They have great personalities and made the parasailing so much fun while keeping us safe. We listened to some great music and had a lot of fun as a family. My husband thought we were so high up, we could see Cuba. 😂 But seriously, they got us really high up and kept us there. Would definitely recommend, 10/10! Also recommend the picture package.

Up front they tell no phones allowed on boat so they make you pay for photos. That’s fine and I understand but what they don’t tell you if your a group of 2 they will pair you with a different person to make it a group of 3. Now I’m paying for photos of a complete stranger in photos. Total rip off

We had a great time with Captain Ben and Alexa. Very, very fun and entertaining as well as personable. Had a great time. The boat ride was awesome too. The pictures were great. We got so many pictures more than we expected. Thank you very much! We will be back for a fourth time.

We enjoyed a great parasail ride and The bonus is you get to ride a banana boat out to Captain Ben's boat. It was a very nice trip and the first mate Alexa did a great job as well.

Captains Ben and Josh were the best crew. Although we had an unexpected water landing, they had given us the safety training before we even started and felt completely comfortable waiting for them to pick us up. Then we jumped back into the sail and flew again. Couldn’t have asked for a better crew to keep everything even keel. - The Mountain Mama
Josh (Morgan Walmart) and Ben were amazing! We had them 2 times this week and both times they had us laughing and played some good music. Not to mention they’re kinda easy on the eyes. 10/10 will be back to parasail with them again. Also, Josh is a good photographer.

Took the family today (grandma, dad, and 4 young kids) and had a wonderful time! Our boat was crewed by Captain Nate and Bryan and they were amazing. Super friendly folks who made us comfortable and ensured we laughed plenty. The entire experience was amazing! Highly recommend, and if you go, ask for Nate and Bryan.
Great people. We had to reschedule twice due to rough seas, and they threw in a free photo package. Plus you get a fun banana boat ride to and from the boat.

Ben and Alexa (sp?) were great! I felt safe even though the water was very choppy. Alexa worked her tail off non-stop the entire trip and Ben kept his eyes on the water or the parasail at all times.
Captain Nick and his partner Nate made our parasail adventure very fun. They have the type of personality that makes you comfortable flying through the air! Hope we get them next time!
I have parasailed in Key West and Panama City but our trip up with Nate and Josh far surpassed my previous trips. These guys were a blast! Cannot wait to go up with them again.

The guys on the boat when I went were super sweet and very welcoming. They were patient as I was very nervous. The take off was very smooth and not jerky at all. If I could do this a million more times, I 1000% would.

Absolutely amazing company! From the start Savanna in the office was so nice and helpful, Annie in the kiosk was very sweet and told us about the photo pack (definitely worth getting! amazing pictures!). The banana boat was a fun little trip to the boat. Captain Sawyer and Deckhand Frederick went above and beyond, they work so well together like a well oiled machine! Felt extremely safe the entire time and had a blast!! Would 100% go again!! Best experience ever!
Savanna in the office was extremely helpful and helped get us scheduled, Kalli the kiosk attendant was wonderful and helped get our photos onto our phone with ease, the captain Sawyer was very professional and made you feel extremely safe, the deckhand Frederick was extremely efficient in getting us harnessed and ready to go up! Overall it was an amazing experience and they whole company went above and beyond! Definitely recommend purchasing the photos package!
We had an amazing time parasailing with Ike's Parasail. We had a couple glitches that was no fault of theirs and they made it work so that we wouldn't miss out on the fun. There were so many jelly fish in the water where we were supposed to get the banana boat they called in advance and said we could still go if we wouldn't mind coming to the marina in Orange Beach to catch the boat. No problem! Everyone at the check in point was very friendly and very helpful. The water was rough that day but it was just a couple days before Hurricane Sally. Our captain did his best to make it as smooth as possible for us. Our crewman was amazing. He handled the rough water very well and managed to get us our life jackets, our harnesses, help us get ready to fly and also took a ton of pictures! He deserved a large tip for sure! We were shocked at all he was doing! We had 8 of us from 9 years old to 67 and we all loved it. They were very knowledgeable and we felt comfortable with them the entire time. We all want to do it again someday! Hopefully the weather and the water will cooperate next time and we will get the banana boat ride too. Ike's did everything they could possibly do so that we could enjoy our adventure!
